Disinfection and sanitation of cold storage is the daily work of cold storage management personnel, which is of great significance to ensure the hygienic quality of stored items and extend the service life of cold storage. So,how to choose and use cold storage disinfectants?Follow the editor of cold storage construction to learn about it.
1.Antifungal agent
Anti mold agents are common cold storage disinfectants with many varieties, but most of them need to be mixed with painting materials for painting. The commonly used methods of cold storage disinfectants such as antimycotics include sodium chloride method, sodium hydroxybiphenol method, and copper sulfate method. For example, when the cold storage is not used for a long time or if improper use causes severe mildew, the sodium hydroxybiphenol method can be used for disinfection. The specific operation is as follows:In a positive temperature warehouse,2%sodium hydroxybiphenol solution can be used to brush the wall,or a whitening mixture prepared with an equivalent concentration of pharmaceutical solution can be used for painting, and the dirt on the floor, wall, and roof should be removed. If mold is found,it should be carefully removed with a scraper or brush. After disinfection, the floor should be washed, dried, and ventilated before the warehouse can be used for cooling. At the same time, special attention should be paid to using this method for disinfection, and it should not be used alternately or mixed with bleaching powder to prevent the wall from showing maroon due to the chemical reaction between the two.
2.Disinfectant
Disinfectants are also commonly used in the sanitation work of cold storage disinfection, including bleaching powder disinfection, sodium hypochlorite disinfection, lactic acid disinfection, formalin disinfection, and so on.The relatively simple and feasible disinfection methods are sodium hypochlorite disinfection and lactic acid disinfection. The use operation of sodium hypochlorite disinfection is to use 2%to 4%sodium hypochlorite solution, add 2%sodium carbonate, spray in a low-temperature cold storage, and then close the door.Lactic acid disinfection involves producing 3-5 ml of crude lactic acid per cubic meter of warehouse space, adding 1-2 parts of water to each lactic acid, placing it in a porcelain dish, heating it on an alcohol lamp, and disinfecting it after closing the door for a few hours.
3.Ultraviolet
Using ultraviolet light for disinfection is also a common disinfection method, especially suitable for the disinfection of equipment such as ice cream workshop molds and work clothes.Ultraviolet disinfection is not only simple to operate and save costs, but also has very good results. The specific operation is to install an ultraviolet light lamp with a power of 1W per cubic meter of space, which can disinfect the air by irradiating it with an average of 3H per day.
